This website sits on our own server in Germany.

It is delivered through Cloudflare, covered two sections below.

The connection is encrypted on both legs.

No further services are embedded.

Our server fetches nothing from third parties for this site either.

The provider processes the data of this website solely on our instructions.

A processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The same data centres carry the CPIM hosted service.

The service speeds up requests and keeps attacks away from the server.

Every request to this site passes through it, including sending the contact form.

Cloudflare thereby sees your IP address, the address requested and the identifier of your browser.

Fixed parts such as fonts and images are cached by Cloudflare and served from there. Only page content is cached, nothing about you.

Cloudflare logs the requests as well and deletes those records on its own schedule.

Requests are answered at a location in Germany. Under heavy load or during a fault, a location outside the EU may step in.

The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

Cloudflare processes the data on our instructions under Art. 28 GDPR. Transfers to the USA are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses, and Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in fast and secure operation, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The purpose is running the site and fending off attacks.

Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest.

The line holds:

• the IP address of the requesting connection
• the time of the request
• the address that was requested
• the status code of the answer and the number of bytes sent
• the referring address, where the browser sends one
• the identifier of browser and operating system

The purpose is dealing with your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Against spam the server checks a hidden field, the time taken before sending, and the number of requests per IP address within one hour. That count lives in memory and ends with the next restart.

Retention: until the enquiry is settled. The note below carries the detail.

Fields without a star are optional. The form asks for:

• name and organisation
• e-mail address
• phone number, optional
• number of charge points, optional
• the message itself
• confirmation that you have read this notice

Font files sit on our own server, as do screenshots, drawings and the video.

They are delivered through Cloudflare.

Your IP address therefore reaches no further provider.

A message to info@dstech-it.de is enough to exercise any of them.

The competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
